# dim_candidates

Connects customer-submitted candidate names and sequences to the antigens and assay conditions in which they were tested. This table provides the canonical link between the customer's input designs and the identifiers used across all score and sequencing tables.

**Grain:** one row per `(sample_id, sino_catalog_id, candidate_id, antigen_concentration_nM)`.

| Column | Type | Description |
| :- | :- | :- |
| `candidate_id` | `string` | Identifies this candidate across the dataset. Two candidates with identical sequences share the same `candidate_id`. |
| `candidate_name` | `string` | The customer-provided name for this candidate. |
| `candidate_sequence` | `string` | The customer-provided sequence for this candidate. |
| `sample_id` | `string` | Identifies the physical sample this candidate was run in, matching `sample_id` in `dim_samples`. |
| `sino_catalog_id` | `string` | Identifies the antigen using its Sino Biological catalog number. |
| `antigen_concentration_nM` | `float` | Concentration of the antigen used for this measurement, in nanomolar (nM). |
| `antigen_gene_name` | `string` | Gene name of the antigen. |
| `antigen_sequence` | `string` | Amino acid sequence of the antigen. |
| `selection` | `boolean` | Indicates whether the sample underwent antigen binding selection. `true` marks a binding sample exposed to an antigen; `false` marks a baseline expression sample. |
